We were tasked with creating a digital marketing strategy for a new moss covered bench launched in London and Newcastle, which reduced inner-city pollution by 20%.

A four channel strategy was proposed and launched. Utilising Twitter we targeted users interested in Green technology, with promoted ads encouraging users to visit the installation and watch embedded videos. A content strategy promoted articles explaining the issue of pollution and the potential solution, promoted with enticing headlines such as ‘The New German Pollution Solution Sweeping the UK’ to increase brand awareness. Adwords was used to protect the brand and drive traffic to the website from users searching for the product. Finally in a bid to generate leads, Linkedin paid in-mailing was used to send crafted specific messages to users in corporate responsibility jobs.

We delivered:

  • Huge exposure to the general public highlighting the issue and solution
  • 17 enquiries interested in purchasing a CityTree
  • Users on Twitter tagging Councillors in replies - resulting in enquires from Councillors.
